    It was one of those nights. I was displaying my awful communication skills to my husband who had had a long day and didn’t have the mental energy to keep up. What started out as relaxing, fun evening at home turned into an argument between a frustrated husband and a crying wife.     Everyone at some point in life has a mold that they feel the need to fit into. A title that comes with a checklist to be successful. Athlete, executive, husband, jock, nerd, girlfriend, pastor, coach, daughter. The list could go on. We are defined by labels and accomplishments in our culture.     Start of a Journey

    As with any journey in life, it’s important to know who you are traveling with, why they are traveling, and what they hope to accomplish. So I’ll get us started. My name is Kala, and this has been my journey thus far. My upbringing was in a fairly traditional, conservative home. I’ve attended a Southern Baptist church for as long as I can possible remember.
